BE IT RESOLVED THAT Mayor John Grant be appointed as Chair of the Property Standards Committee.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Property Standards Committee proceed to Closed Session at 3:34 p.m. to discuss: litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board with respect to a Property Standards Order Appeal

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Property Standards Committee rise & report from closed session at 4:15 p.m. and, THAT the appeal submitted by the owner and/or occupant for the subject property municipally known as B24415 Thorah Park Blvd, Plan 425, Beaverton, Ontario, in the Township of Brock, regarding the Property Standards Order, issued April 25, 2022, to carry out the repairs and/or clearances as set out in Schedule “A” attached to the Order, is hereby confirmed ; and THAT the Property Standards Order issued April 25, 2022 for the subject property is final and binding and the Municipality may proceed with prosecution of the owner and/or occupant under the Building Code Act for failing to comply with the Order, or the Municipality may clear and/or repair the Subject Property and the amount spent by the municipality on the repair and/or clearance shall be a lien on the Subject Property with priority lien status as described in section 1 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and may be added to the tax roll against the Subject Property and collected in the same manner as taxes.
