That Minor Variance Application A/08/23 to reduce the interior side yard setback from 1.2m to 0.6m, be approved subject to the following conditions:  The related Consent application is approved and brought into effect;  The variance only applies to the existing garage structure;  Subject to the Chief Building Official’s comments regarding the canvas type shelter in front of the garage that the structure should be relocated and verified to meet required setbacks or removed. The proposed application is considered minor in nature, is consistent with the general intent and purpose of the Official Plan and Zoning By-law and is considered desirable for this site.
